At Haven Maid Services, our standard residential scope centers on the rooms and surfaces that make the biggest difference to daily life. Below is a plain-language walk-through of what to expect.
Living areas
Dusting accessible surfaces — shelves at reachable heights, tables, media consoles, décor items, and window ledges — is the foundation. Once dust is off the surfaces, wiping is more effective and results last longer. Vacuuming standard floor areas removes what settles between visits, and we tidy the visible clutter that tends to accumulate in living rooms.
Kitchens
The kitchen usually gets the most focused attention. We clean counters, the exterior of appliances (fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher), the sink and faucet, and the surfaces around the stovetop. Inside-the-oven or inside-the-fridge cleaning is a separate ask and can be discussed at quote time.
Bathrooms
Bathrooms are handled top-to-bottom: mirrors, counters and sinks, faucets, toilets (interior and exterior), tubs and showers, and floors. Consistent bathroom cleaning is one of the biggest reasons households book a regular service — it makes the room feel genuinely maintained instead of surface-clean.
Bedrooms
Bedroom scope includes dusting, wiping accessible surfaces, tidying visible items, and vacuuming standard floor areas. If you'd like beds made or linens changed, mention it on the quote form so we can factor that into the visit.
What's not included in a standard clean
Carpet washing and carpet shampooing are not services we offer. Standard vacuuming is included where appropriate, but wet extraction of carpets is outside the scope of any of our services. Exterior window washing, pressure washing, and specialty or hazardous cleaning are also not part of standard residential work.
